March 2015 Events in SWFL

The Old Florida Festival will be hosted by the Collier County Museum March 7th and 8th. The event will feature educational demonstrations and historical reenactments to assist patrons in learning about Southwest Florida’s past.

On March 14th, the 39th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will be taking place in Downtown Naples. Grab a spot along the parade route, celebrate Irish heritage, and be sure to wear green!four-leaf-clover-152047_640

The Marco Island Seafood Festival will be taking place March 20th-22nd and will feature numerous bands, food, and arts & crafts vendors. There will be a “kids’ zone” for children with a bounce house, rock wall, and trampoline. Come with your dancing shoes and an empty stomach!

For a refined day of class and culture, visit the Downtown Festival of the Arts March 21st and 22nd. 250 artists from around the country will be displaying their pieces which include jewelry, sculptures, ceramics, photography, painting, and more!

The Collier County Ag Tour will be departing on March 25th where tourists will get an inside look at the county’s packing plants, farms, nurseries, citrus groves, and more. Lunch will be provided for attendees.

Naples Botanical Gardens is hosting their 60th annual Naples Flower Show. Enjoy beautiful garden displays of the many unique plants home to Southwest Florida. Visitors will also have the opportunity to bid on garden gnomes for sale.
