Great Japanese Steakhouse in Southwest Florida!

For those of you that I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Jessica Shaffer and I am the social media director at Toasty in Naples Realty. This month I’m taking on the task of writing one of our regular restaurant reviews for our customers!

If you are a Florida resident, you may or may not have heard about DaRuMa Japanese Steakhouse. With locations in Naples, Fort Myers, and Sarasota, DaRuMa has certainly gained popularity over the last few years and was even voted Best Restaurant of 2013 by Sarasota Magazine.

The Naples location is on Center Street North just off Vanderbilt Beach Road. It’s in an amazing area for out-of-town visitors, just a few blocks from the gulf and surrounding resorts and hotels. Their fun, family-friendly atmosphere is perfect for bringing guests.daruma-ft-myers-6134

DaRuMa offers tons of teppan-style options with fresh seafood, meat, and vegetables prepared at your table. Their friendly and skilled chefs do a wonderful job at making sure every person is having a great time. Each teppan entree includes soup, house salad, shrimp appetizer, rice, and green tea. The most recent dining experience I had at DaRuMa, I was with a party that had both nut and shellfish allergies present. The staff was extremely accommodating and prepared their dishes separately on a different grill as a precaution.

DaRuMa has many more traditional Japanese dishes on their menu, in addition to their award-winning sushi and sashimi bar.

Something that sets DaRuMa apart from other restaurants in the area is their birthday club. When you sign up on their website, you receive an email on your birthday with a coupon that is the equivalent of $20 off your meal when you spend $88 or more. It’s an amazing deal and a great place to spend your special day!

If you choose to dine at DaRuMa, let us know! We’d love to hear about your experience!

Remember, it’s always toasty in Naples and you deserve your piece of Naples sunshine!
