April 2015 Events in SWFL

Many history buffs will love the new WWII exhibit coming to the Holocaust Museum & Education Center in Naples entitled, “Dearest Pauline – A World War II Healer Writes Home”. Don’t wait to hot-air-balloons-439331_640visit, though…this exhibit will only be run until May 3rd.

April 11th-12th, the Seminole Casino Hotel will be hosting the “Balloons Over Paradise Festival”. Visitors can view (and ride in!) amazing hot air balloons, play carnival-style games, and purchase crafts and food from local vendors.

Mark your calendars on April 26th for the annual Taste of Collier where you can sample all that Naples has to offer. Local musicians will be providing the soundtrack for the event and over 40 Naples restaurants will be offering samples.

The Conservancy Naples Guided Beach Walks

Every week day from April 1st-April 10th, you can experience a guided nature walk through Tigertail Beach on Marco Island.

Monday-Saturday throughout the entire month, join the Conservancy for a daily guided beach walk through Clam Pass.

The Naples Depot Museum proudly presents the collage art of John M. Williams, “History Comes to Life”. Join other patrons on April 2nd from 6 PM-8 PM for a free wine and cheese tasting to celebrate the exhibit’s opening.

Through April 12th, the Baker Museum will be hosting “Face to Face: Artists’ Self-Portraits” from the collection of Jackye and Curtis Finch Jr. This exhibit gives viewers the unique opportunity to see how more than 60 talented artists portray themselves.


You will not want to miss the Naples Players’ performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahama! This show will only be running at the Sugden Theater until April 4th, so get your tickets fast!
